First Impression as the Brief
Hanabi is a Singaporean sushi kitchen that delivers sushi to customers’ doorsteps. The project goal was to create a memorable first impression and a distinct website experience from the first visit.
Restaurant Atmosphere, Reframed Online
The concept was inspired by sushi restaurants that use conveyor belts or floating dish systems across the room. We translated that physical dining reference into the website experience to make the interaction feel recognizable and specific to the brand.
Conveyor Belt as the Landing Interaction
We created an interactive animated sushi conveyor belt on the landing page. The motion system was designed to resemble the in-restaurant conveyor belt experience and carry that idea into the digital entry point.
